I switched from the stock 20" tires to a set of 22" sur tracs. Im happy with the tires I just feel like I have no bottom end power. What change in gearing would you reccomend. BTW, I would like to be able to keep the stock chain.Top end speed doesnt matter cause right now when ridin with friends the fastest any-one of them has is a blaster with a pipe.

Try a 14 tooth front sprocket. You can still use your stock chain and the sprocket is cheap.

ok, thanks. Would this make it lower geared than stock or about the same. Ok, the stock rear is a 38, right? what if I went with a 14t front and a 39t rear sprocket. Would this be lower geared than stock?

Also: What kind of sprockets would you reccomend?

The stock rear is 38 teeth.

Well you can go and get 36-43 in the rear and 13-15 in the front if you want.

If you go 41-43 teeth in the back remeber about clearance with your skid plate.

With 14-40 and with the 22'' tires you would be going about the same speed as 15-38 with 20".
