ok i am thinking of upgrading the motor. Should I do a 440 motor kit , a 450r motor swap, or a 500 cr 2 stroke motor swap? i own my own welder and plasma cutter so I can make it fit.

if your are on a budget, whatch ebay for a 400ex motor and, build it up. keep your stocker just that until you need to do more to it. if you have the money, go for the crf450 motor. it takes a couple of frame mods. this site should help with your decision. http://www.annihilationracing.com/reports/crf450.html
as for the 500, i believe you will have problems with vibration. this is all just my 2 cents. good luck!

I've talked to several people that have done the CR500, and not a single one has been happy with it, and none of them would ever recommend it to anyone else. Yes, it's fast, but the vibration makes it nearly unridable, and the frame will not last long.
