YES! It will lean out your jetting and eventually do alot of damage. It's not hard to rejet, ask for guidelines from the pipe maker.

According to your sig. you have a K&N filter, from what I have read on the subject, yes motor damage could occur if you add a slip on. You really should change the main jet. It is very easy to do.
First, go to the local shop, buy a Kehin 152 or 155 main jet.
Turn off the fuel.
Remove the drain plug on the bowl of the carb (17mm socket)
Use a 6mm socket to remove the main jet, you will need to feel around a bit to find it but it is real easy.
Install the new jet, Do Not over tighten.
Replace the drain plug.
Turn on the fuel.
Fire it up.
Let it warm up.
Ride it.:)

Careful with your main jet selection................mine is running a 162 main, that would have set mine lean. Consult the manufacturer of the pipe.;)

Very true, check with the Pipe manufacturer.:) Good clarification RIDER11X.:) You really need the 162 with WB? What system are you running? Other motor mods?
I have the E-Series slip on and usually run a 152 no problems. Ran the 160 with no lid and ran so-so. I'm not "questioning" you, just fine tuning;)

There is a lot of good info in older threads on jetting so take some time and absorb as much as you can, and remember there is not one jet size that will work everyware and ever time etc.

try searchin the fourms for an answer to ur jettin problem for ur pipe. Remember all quads are different so what someone tells u is not always true.

And adjust the pilot screw and adjust the needle setting. It's not said enough, use search, it's VERY helpful and it answers many of your questions. If I was a new memmber I would spend the day just going through the archives.
