anyone using the doug eichner 38 mm carb on a 440 ex?

as the message title states i would like to hear from anyone who is using or has used this carb on their 440 ex.my wife wants one for her 440 and i would like some opinions on what you think of the power that you gained and how the throttle response is compared to the stock carb.thanks

That carb kicks a**, I've ran the regular version, the eichner, and the fcr 39. Eichner had more bottom and top end than the fcr 39. The fcr 39, did have better power gains than the regular edelbrock. The eichner is the best, but only run it on a 440 or higher. I've heard stories of people trying to run it on a stock 400 or a 416 and it ran worse than the stock carb. The eichner is fully designed for a 440 or bigger nothing else.

I have the regular on my 426 and it is very impressive what its does on mine!!
