Anyone live in southern IN and want to make the journey to quad city ? they are running this Sunday the 21st and i am going wanting to see if anyone wanted to meet up !?

Sorry dude but quad city is no longer open. They shut it down this weekend because of insurance reasons . :grr:

Quad City's Finally Finished

First of all what we are about to announce has nothing to do with the recent posts about the last race. As much as we regret it we are going to close the track. About a month ago we received notice that our insurance was canceling us because they were no longer going to cover this type of liability. We have been working with our agent to try and get some more coverage. He called Friday and he found some but we can't afford this and can't get affordable coverage for the last two races. We have looked at this from every angle and we have decided to shut it down. This will be our fourth insurance company and we are tired of worring about it. We will be having a small awards banquet for points winners and you will be notified. We want to thank everyone for your support. We have met alot to great people and we will miss you all. It was fun while it lasted.

That really blows that QC is shut down. Maybe next year they’ll go AMA. Anyway Nebo Ky. is a great place to race, might be to far for you though. They have racing this weekend and though out October yet this year. There always Motorhead.
