with the 2 choices posted there pep would be better due to the rezzies imo cause rezzies make a shock last longer between rebuilds and makes it less proned to fading and peps valving suits me more being a hard rider whereas i didnt like elkas at all when i rode em........just me though we all have aour own prefrences tho.......:)

PEP has a better rep, while ELKAs rep is still growing. Although I would go with PEP, especially since ELKAs recent price increase, if you don't mind the 6 week wait. I don't think you will be disappointed with either of them though.

The zero preload basically makes your quad sit lower. It lowers the center of gravity.

It is deff worth while to get, it makes your quad less tippy.

I would go with the ssd or zps eith of them. Spend the extra money and you wont be kickin yourself later on. I would get triple rate SSD Elka piggyback or remote what ever you prefer. THe reason I choose this is cause I had them on my 400ex, and they worked amazing. But the valving was off, becase they were vavled for 40lbs heavier then me and they worked perfect. If you want the wait get the PEP.

Its all personal preference, how long you wanna wait, and how much you wanna spend. With the R I still havent decided 100% on what set-up I am going with.

Well a limited mass pep doesnt have the zps or ssd spring. So basically your quad wont sag(which is what you want) If you get a ZPS(pep) or ssd(elka) it will have a spring that compresses quite easy, causing your quad to sag( lower center of gravity) So its your choice.. the elka with ssd or the pep with ressies. personally like I sad before, go for the pep/

You have less weight to lower the center of gravity, so yes, lowering would make it better.
