Radiator Question

i'm doing a klx300 motor swap into my 300 which means i need a radiator. i'm using a stock 250r one. my question is if i mount it at a somewhat angle will it still work fine...like a \ or something...i'm not sure yet on how i'm going to mount it so i was just wondering. thanks for you help also does anyone have any pics of 250r aluminum rad scoops..pref on the bike. thanks!

You can mount it anyway you want. Angled, sideways, upside down.. its all good.

A slight angle will still work fine. The only reason for a vertical orientation is to get airflow through the it, and you'll get some amount of airflow as long as it isn't completely horizontal. I'll look into some air scoops to direct the airflow through the radiator.

what happend to the XR500 motor with the 400ex exhaust pipe and the 250R sub frame in a 300ex chassies?

wanted a watercooled dual overhead cam. and the klx300 motor is like...a watercooled dual overhead cam version of the 300ex motor. same mounts and everything
