I went riding today and on the way I thought that my clutch cable broke, but after I took off the clutch side case......I found out that the clutch lifter pin broke of!!!!!!!!! this happened to anyone and was this hard to fix? from looking at the micro fiche I would have to take my clutch out???? any advise??

I'd say just replace the lifter pin. shouldn't be to expensive and definitly not hard to replace..

I'd try ver hard to find any loose parts that might have fallen down into the basket and plates...:ermm:

It isn't very difficult to change. I will say that the new gasket ($13.87 or $9.09 @ServiceHonda) costs more than the lifter pin ($8.44 or $6.40 @ServiceHonda). I had to replace mine about 3 years ago. Let me know if you need any pages from the service manual, I can scan them and email them to you.

i dont think the clutch needs to be removed i think the pin just sits in the end of the assy ,i could be wrong !:(

Nope,,just the case and thats it..:cool:
