Ok i have some elka shocks that do not have Rezs. And i was thinking about getting rezs conversion but do not really want to send the money. I will be racxing next year and was going to revalve them this winter. But do i absolutly needs rezs?? Thanks Ryan

For serious racing yes.
They stop your shock from fading while they are being worked hard and heat up.

I would also agree that you need the rezzys if you are serious about racing at all. The shocks will fade if worked hard and that will also cause the oil to break down faster, so your shocks won't work as well as when new. Shocks are just like your motor, you gotta change the oil in them regularly because it breaks down just like motor oil.

naw u dont need em unless you were racing long xc races

j37 has run his hard all season, they probaly got more than 15-20 races on em and they work like new, they do get warm alot faster than with rezzies but he races mx and you dont get drastic fad in 1 moto
