well my friend is gunna get a ttr125e and is convinced that he will destroy me. mine is a piped 92 250x.

i know hes like im goinna beat you, but i told him there is no way a little 125 4 stroke trail bike would beat me. i sent him a link to this thread, lol, now hes telling me that its a ttr125L not 125E, and that its faster omg please someone say something so i can show him this, lol

The L means it has the package to make it look more like an MX bikes, front disc brake, and more suspension travel. Are we talking a drag race here? I wouldn't be so confident if I were you. 250Xs aren't the fastest things in the world.

lemme just end the confusion here,

125l stands for "large", its the same motor, just a little taller, bigger wheels, and is kick start, also looking like an mx bike

I would throw my quad off a cliff if I thought it would be beaten by a ttr125 or 125l, my friend used to have one back in the day and I used to hammer on that thing, I would max out coming up this pathway when I would just be revving out in 4th on my quad

I have raced my quad against the entire ttr line up from the 125, 125l and the ttr225, I smoked them all by 5 and more quad lengths, it was emabarrasing

I get smoked by my friends predators and cr250s, I have run strong with ktm 125's and piped 400s and dont get me wrong half of the times I win against the bigger bikes is outta skill

To even have doubts that a 250x will be beaten by a ttr you should be beaten over the head with a bat

not trying to start anything or pretend I know everything, but outta plain and simple expirence with bikes and quads over the years I think I could know whether a 2 vavle 125 four stroke trail machine made for young mid sized riders will run with a 250x/300ex

most of the runs werent with some of the mods I have now, I do not take pride in my 300, so dont even try to make jokes of it, lets get on a track before any starts talking *****, ay?

i beat ttr-125's with my 250ex all the time with my 250ex. you should be fine

You will difinitly beat him. I beat my friend on his xr200 easily(completely stock) on my 250x and even my little cr80. I was amazed at how slow it moved when I got on it and hit the throttle. And the accelleration was just horrible. I know my quad and bike aren't the best but the xr200 is just sad. He is thinking about the crf250r though, so I might have to start more modding or even step up to a new quad.
