View Full Version : 300ex to350x ari boot??help

this is a stupid question but ill ask it anywhy is the arr boot the tube running from the airbox to the carb or the peice from the car to the motor?
i just wanted to get a 350x one because i herd it would make a difference and wanted to know which is the part that makes a difference.
any help is better then none!!

the 350x airboot is less restrictive, but it won't fit on the stock 300ex carb. THe people that use this airboot are those that put 400ex carbs on their 300's so that they can get an air boot that fits.

i got a 350 x air boot of ebay for like 9.99 and wanted to make it fit on because i herd it would let it flow better, i didnt know u have to use a 400ex carb.
when using a 400ex care do u have to use a stock one or could i use a proformance carb?

i would use a stock one. Jetted correctly you can get some good gains if you have some good engine work.

im gettin a 400ex carb for my 300, but i might be gettin a 310 or even a 330 kit for it. BTW do u have to run an oil cooler with a 330 kit??

The air boot will fit over the carb all on it's own. I run this setup and it works . You'll be glad you did it.
