Is it aftermarket frame time? I would be sick, too. I would have pain also, right in my wallet. Any damage to you?:(

Man, the YFZ must have really weak frames, A-arms, and shocks to break up like that! What is that thing made out of Paper-Mache. I can't believe they didn't make the YFZ strong enough to handle a Head on crash with a tree at 30+ mph.

Are you going to call up Yamaha and claim about how poorly it held up to a crash?

Just kidding. It is funny though that some times people think their quad parts should survive anything. I know you don't think this way GNCCer, but I just had to point it out.

It is a real shame to see this happen to you after how much time and work you put into getting it ready for the race. Sometimes everything wrong seems to happen, but hopefully you will get it fixed soon.

who was the smart *** at the gncc that offered you a tissue when you got up off the ground:mad:

I am thinking if the stuff was strong enough not to break that would have hurt real bad!!!!!!!!

Man, what a lick! Its hard to tell from the pic, but it does not look like the frame is bent. New upper and lower a-arms, maybe a little welding on the upper shock mount and you'll be good to go. Is the shock ok?

:huh :eek2: ..OUCH!! hopefully the frame isn't tweeked, the aarms are a little cheaper to replace, glad your still w/ us,that could have been real nasty if it was head-on..looks like it could have been real close:(

yeah the shock is bend bad. The frame is good except for the shock mount and a few other mounts. I was 5th pinned in a feild trying to get by another racer before we went into the woods. We hit a small hump.. I cought a little air he didn't. he tapped my rear tire while I was in the air. I got turn sidways and landed on a downhill about 10' from a tree nothing I could do from there but hold on.

you must have hit hard...i witnessed a YFZ tumble, do a few kart wheels, flip end over end at a MX race....the quad was fine..and luckily the rider was too... we all thought he was gonan be hurt bad because the quad landed on him in one of the many flips..but i was suprised when his friend started it up and rode it away.

I don't think you where the only one that kissed those tree's over that hill. I came over it the first time and thought O chit, over the cliff again at the Hatfeild. Threw the pork chop on the other side and made the left hand turn into the woods.
