EXriders.com T-Shirt Design Contest!

Now that Honda has released the New TRX450R, It is time for EXriders.com to release a New T-shirt.

I would like the members to be involved in the graphical design of the new t-shirt, so I have decided to create a design contest. The only requirement is that the design includes a 450R, 400EX, 300EX, 250R, or 250X. It could include one or several of the eligible atvs in the design. Also, there may be more than one winner if mutiple graphical designs are choosen for several different new t-shirts. All submissions become property of EXriders.com, and the final design winner will be choosen by the moderators and I. The contest will end on October 13, 2003

The member(s) design that are choosen will receive the following:

1. Name included on T-shirt
2. EXriders.com T-shirts
3. 2 EXriders.com Stickers

Ok, my real idea is just a simple polo shirt with a small EXRiders logo on the front. And a baseball hat with the logo on it would be cool too.

I want a Red and Black choice and a Black and Red choice! They should have a pic of a 400ex and a trx450r. You could also have each individual 4 wheeler.

I agree, I was thinking embroider the logo on the front of the shirt and a ball cap. The original sticker design, on a hat or a pocket-tee or polo shirt:D

For polo's, demin shirts, etc. - there are companies out there that specialize in that. The company (in this case the website) get's with them and gives them the logo and everything - then everyone can go to their site and pic from a million different shirts and order it using a code that let's them know to put the exriders.com logo on it. This is how the software company that I work for get's their shirts.

just some advise not that you really care lol but id make a polol with the exriders logo stitched on it the logo that is in the tribal font and do the same with a hat i think that you would sell quite a few i know for a fact that i would be more inspired to buy a polo or hat than a tee shirt

That one is really nice too...how do you guys take a regular picture like that and make the colors look kinda like they are hand drawn, i can't seem to get it and i've tried playing with all the rotten photoshop filters and crap :D

so far I like Ralph's a little better. I really liked Shift's until I saw Ralph's though. But when I compare them Shift's looks a little too busy. Keep working on them guys the contest is still young! Plus as far as I know there's no limit to the number of entries any one person can have.

i need an exrider shirt so bad..ill buy one as soon as they come out. ;)

T-shirt

EX RIDERS----across the back like a jersey but in like old english or flames -- nothing real crazy, i mean make it easily readable.

Ok then on the front just a bike, but not a photo, I mean like a stylized bike image just detailed enough to tell what it is(definitley 400ex) sorta like a design that just looks fast just standing still.

I want an ex riders shirt,

But I don't want one with a photograph of a guy racing on it.

Even something cartoony (big daddy roth) would be cooler than a photo realistic picture.

Other things maybe??

A # on the back like 247 or something.
A Red Honda wing outline on the sleeve or on the back.
A Honda wing with the cool usa flag colored feathers on the back or sleeve.

Cool Honda hat w/exriders on the back.

Just my ideas, I'll try to photoshop, but it may take me a while.

I'm inclined to put a 250R up there before a 400ex, there are not too many great 250R shirts that i have seen, but plenty of 400ex ones.:ermm:

those are looking real good! I like the idea with them on a red or black T-shirt!, another idea might be to just get those "prints" the ones you iron on to a shirt (the better quality ones) then people could put them on what ever color/shirt they wanted ;) just an idea! :D

Live and yfsrider designs are pretty cool. Maybe you guys should have a option of tee's and hoodies....like you can get a white/black or red tee in this design or you can get a hoodie in the other design. I am sure people would be hoping at the chance to get one of those shirts.

shift_dvs you have already made an awesome design and you should allow your shirt to be qualified

I'd rather have an awesome shirt created by you then a 1/2 *** one done in paint by a 2 yr old....kind of an exageration but you get what i'm sayin

Would be cool to incorporate multiple quads in one design, but not sure if it can be done without looking cluttered. Shift_DVS would be the one to answer that...lol.

Yeah that would be cool. I think it would be neat have a 400ex and a 250r coming out of like a circle or something ( on the back of the shirt. One going left and one going right. But I suck with photoshop so I am not even going to attempt showing what I mean.

Oh.. you didn't?? Well now ya have.

In a site DEDICATED to Honda atv's, the 250R and 400ex, and the new 450R have top rights to be on that shirt, not a yammi, or any other brand.

Everythin else we do for the other brand bikes is to be nice, and give those people who have other bikes and are members of this board to have a place to talk. It's not Dedicated to other brands, its just a nice gesture on the part of the site to have a board for them.:rolleyes:

In a site DEDICATED to Honda atv's, the 250R and 400ex, and the new 450R have top rights to be on that shirt, not a yammi, or any other brand.

Everythin else we do for the other brand bikes is to be nice, and give those people who have other bikes and are members of this board to have a place to talk. It's not Dedicated to other brands, its just a nice gesture on the part of the site to have a board for them.:rolleyes:

I made the post the way i did because it seemed to me you came off sounding indignant about it, the way i read it was you were Po'd about not going to have another brand on the shirt...:ermm:

My points just that since the site Represents Honda Atv's, it makes the most sense to have Honda Atv's on it, and not another brand. And i still think that the sites more about Honda in general, than JUST a 400ex.. it may be called EXriders, but i think its just more figurative towards the EX than it is literally FOR ex's only.. catch my point?

Seems the case to me, especially when there aren't exactly any Forums floating around on here geared towards an EX only, they are all general categories.

you guys always come up with some stupid idea then the shirts dont sell just like last year it had a great design and they didnt sell, u guys just argue with me for the sake of arguing and you dont make any sense, lets put a 250r and 450r on the shirt since so many of us have those 450rs in are garage:rolleyes:

Why dosent anybody give some respect to the smaller quad's? But I think we should have EXRIDERS.COM on the front and on the back have a choice between 400ex, 300ex/250x, and 250ex. but thats JMO

yeah there are a lot of people on here that own 250ex's and 300ex's.....what if they said they werent going to buy one unless the quad they strictly wanted wasnt on it???

a quad is a quad...and with a quad on the shirt, i think we are getting our point across...i would like to buy one no matter what is on it....babys:grr: lol

Very true, but the same people that don't feel right with all of them on there, may not buy one at all if it doesn't have their quad on it at all. There really is no win/win situation than. But if you where to make a shirt for each Honda sport model it will raise the price of the shirts.

I have both the exriders.com shirts and i love the first one that LEO made. Its very simple and i still wear it to this day. The one were it just says exriders on the front then on the back it says EX with a quad silhouette and under it says EXriders.com. With this you dont have to worry whether its a 400ex, 300ex, 250ex, banshee, raptor, gas gas, lawnmower, honda, yamaha, KTM, suzuki, etc. It gets the point across, doesnt have anything someone would hate like a season, month, color, or anything else. I would like to see this design or something similar again on a black or white T-shirt. I think that would sell hundreds. my .02
