250r swingarm extend or shorten???

i`m getting a extra stock length swingarm with the 250r i am buying should i have it lengthened or shortend?? by how much and what are the pros and cons of doing either? please help i`m not shure what to do on this one

pros sharper turning less weight less chain better for woods riding and mx and TT where you need response and traction cause a shorter swinger reallly increases traction

longer swinger lose traction so you spin out more cant get skidplates for some extended ones makes it reall hard to ride woods and turn and pretty much contradicts everything a shorter swinger does i personally like to run -1 off a 88-89 length swingarm so thats minus 2 inches for you.......:D you will wheelie a tad easier but not that much man!:macho
