Has anyone taken the silver finish of theres and polished it? If so some pics would be nice.:D

i just did one but i didnt take any pics.Its a time taking process.Just dont try it with mothers or it will take a year and you wont get a very good result

i used Tal-mar heavy duty paint stripper.Its in a spray can and is pretty easy to use,works great also.spray on and wipe off the paint.Use a heavy coat on it.and if it all dont come off spray it again. You can pick it up at advance auto for arond $3-$4.

is this why my parts allways look cloudy? I can make them so I can see myself clearly but it allways seems milky or cloudy :confused2

:cool: i would suggest sending it to someone with the proper polishing stuff to do it..it is a very hard and time consuming project to do cases

probably.mothers is something to touch up with.You need a buffing wheel and compounds to do the job right.

how do you keep it from oxidosing. i put a clear on it now it looks milky. and i polished it right. sandblasted the mofo and used a buffing wheel with black green and white compunds. and 3 different wheels. it was like a mirror but it oxodised quick
even with a polish on it. and then i cleared it and it got all milky

Use zoop seal, it the ****.
If you clear coat it, put 2-3 layers each one real thin. And don't buy cheap clear coat.
