Every once in a while I will try to crank the quad but as soon as I hit the button it clicks and the neutral lite goes out. Any takers?

Most likely the battery cable is loose.

he's probably 99.9% correct... Go thru all electical connections every few months..

I tighted it once but it seems they are snug. I guess i will have to check everything. Thanx
