Blue finish

Have you guys seen guns that are blue finished I was wondering if you could get parts powder coated like that? I am sure it is a probably a different process to get guns like that. Does any how they do that?

gun barrels and actions used to be exclusivley "blued" which is a dipping process or dye. its possible to have parts blue'd but the cost would negate any benefits.

Thanks pappy. I just thought the blue metal on some guns looks good. I was wondering how they did that.
