yea there nice subs, just make sure you get an amp big enough, if you underpower those subs with less than 600watts, they suck..........the solo baric can handle less than 1ohm if you really want it to........just don't buy a cheap 1000 watt amp

i kicker 400dx will smoke a cheap 1000 pyramid amp

get a set of 4 solo barics 12" and then add 4 crossfire 2200D amps. that would be good and hit hard as hell. if you cant fit four get 2 and then just add 2 amps instead of 4

Yep, speakers are seen as resistance/load to an amplifier. The "ohm" rating is referring to the "resistance" of the speaker. Amplifiers are rated as to how low of a resistance they can handle @ a certain wattage. Its actually a very basic electrical circuit.

If you want to take it to the next level, find the specs how the amp produces power at different frequency levels... To me, that is a very important spec to be concerned with, if you want truly smooth power.

Sounddomain.com has pics and im sure you can find some of your truck there. Its in the members pages section or something like thaqt. I'm almost positive you can do a search by the type of vehical.

Depending on what type of music you listen to, I would suggest 12" subs. I listen to all types of music, but music with bass is ussually playing. And I have 10" subs, they do good but bass songs tend to hit lower than a 10" sub can handle. 10s have better sq in general but getting low aint there strong point. I blow my 10" Fosgate He2s about every 4 months because of the low freq, and the gain set a little to high.:ermm: :) That BestBuy 4yr ext. warranty was one of the best and most use warranties I have ever purchased.:p
