Well......the time has come for me to say goodbye to the best quad I have ever owned. I am selling my 2001 440EX due to the fact that I have quit racing until I buy my house in February.......after which time I will be buying a new quad. So....with that said, here are the details:
NO I WILL NOT PART ANYTHING OUT!!!! ;)
***2001 440EX***
(this is the one that was in the Dirtwheels letter section with the Rappy hood installed)
WB 440 kit (JE piston/LA sleeve/11:1 ratio)
WB MX Cam
Lonestar +1 Swingarm (silvervein – almost new)
+3+1 Ricky Stator A-Arms and Tie Rod set (silver)
+4 Dominator Axle
E-Series Slip-on with all disks
K&N Filter/Outerwear and Jet Kit
Elka Triple Rate SSD’s with rezzie’s (set up for a 130lb rider)
Rear Elka SSD Rebuild (set up for 130 lb rider, but feels a little stiff)
AC Racing Bumper (newer style)
WB Nerf Bars
ProRacing (?) brake lines up front (red)
Renthal bars/grips
Pro-Design Kill Switch
Rappy hood installed on front end (have headlight assembly available if you want it)
NEW Razors on the front
20” Shredders on the rear (about 40% tread left – need new tires!)
Dirt Digger Clutch
Hinson Clutch Basket
Tinner Air Scoops
SKIN Industries seat cover
440 kit was professionally installed by Weller Racing last year – oil has been changed religiously and filter cleaned regularly. This quad has always been ridden by me (girl rider) and I have babied it as much as I could during my racing season. Top end is great – never smokes – always starts first time. I have run race gas in it since the 440 kit was installed – once or twice I have mixed premium with race gas when I ran out, but I have taken VERY good care of the engine. The front plastic is the original plastic, so it’s a little rough, but the rear plastic was replaced 4 months ago – so it’s in good shape. Normal scratching/wear but no cracks and no creases.
Still has the stock carb - you can get more power out of the engine with a 39mm FCR and a bigger oil cooler - maybe a more aggressive cam. I opted for reliability over power options........
This will go in my local Cycle Trader tomorrow....I am asking $5900 (+shipping) including the Elka's......if you already have shocks I'll keep the front Elka's and let it go for $5500 + shipping/delivery charges.
Here are some pics....if you PM me I will send you more if you want! Just wanted to give you guys first dibs! :)
