Does anyone know what mods are needed to put a cr500 motor onto a 250r frame? I heard somthing about the vibration of the motorcycle engine would crack the mount or frame. Is this true?

I personally wouldnt do it, its a lot of work. The vibration yo would get off it would make it only rideable for short periods of time. You have a better chance with a three-wheeler because the forks will dissapate some of the vibrations.

Don't take this with a grain of salt, but if I remember correctly. To use a cr500 motor, you have to use the cr500 bike frame and turn IT into a quad. I believe that they said the frame was made in such away that it acts like a tuning fork. This reduces the vibration down to almost nothing. Like I said, I had read this a long time ago; it may not have even been the cr500. Maybe someone else will know.
