Which 440 kit works best and is still reliable for a reasonable cost?

Not sure how much you want to do but a suggestion would be a ross 440 kit with sleeve, thinner gaskets to bump up compression, a cam if you want just a drop in go with the hotcam stg2 or if you want hardened rockers and all that good stuff you can run the webcam, maybe a carb (not necessary) and of course aftermarket exhaust.. of and maybe a port and polish :D These are only suggestions

the ross pistons are around $120. just order it straight through the site sponsor, c and d racing. they are very helpful.
