new tire size

I am about to get new tires for my 01 300 EX. I was told to go down to 20 in the rear for more low end..... do I go down the same in the front or do they make a big difference? I am trying to decide between the Nankang holeshots and the Fast trekkers.... any advice is appreciated. Thanks

Go woith maxxis razors ytou won't be disappointed, you can go down to a 21 in the front if you want to

No need to go down with the front tire size. 22" fronts and 20" rears are a very common setup. I had a set of trekkers and did not like them. I dont know anything about the Nankang. My personal preference is itp holeshots or maxxis razors. I have them both (xc versions)and you cant go wrong with either in my opinion.
