Stock clip position on carb needle

Refresh my memory here, Isn't the stock slot the second one down from the top on a 400EX?

im thinkin its 3 from the top

I just rejeted mine friday and it was the first time my carb was apart and it was on the 3rd grove from the top.

Thanks, I forgot where to put it for a baseline. Right now i'm running 160 main, 40 pilot, clip on third slot, stock filter w/backfire screen removed & 3 inch hole in air box lid. Seems to be pretty close. The 165 main seemed a little rich. It took off like a scalded cat with the 160 main. uni filter on the way
