I just found out my mothers boyfriend has a dremel w/ all the polishing bits and I was just wondering what all on an ex can be polished? also please post any pic of some polishing work THANX:cool:

throttle cover, brake reservior cover, engine side cases, motor mounts, etc., etc...

its kinda hard to larger stuff with a dremel cause you get the swirl marks from such a small wheel. the easy ones you can do are throttle cover, oil filter cover, starter cover, crank and timing mark plugs, motor mounts, brake rezzi cover(with the words left black).

Best tip 4 polishing dremel or by hand.

Mothers aluminum polish.
Little red can w/ white lid

Enough time & elbow grease on any metal surface------you'll be shinin like a diamond.

try something small first like your throttle cover..it takes a lot of time man so just keep polishing until it looks like a mirror

do motor mounts on a 300ex are ¸polishable also or they will rust ?

Get it chromed for long lasting shine....;)

I would suggest a clear PC cout, regular paint doesnt last long and can "offset" the polish.
