350x pivot bearings

As you may know Honda Has Discontinued the bearing Collar for This Machine.. What the Hell were they thinking discontinuing a Wear Item... Any Idea Where I can Get One? I was Thinking of getting the 300ex bearing kit and Have the Collar cut down and rewelded at the 350x length. any Ideas?

Just exactly what are you talking about when you say bearing collar? Do you mean the rear bearing carrier?

I am talking about the Collar where the Front Pivot Bolt goes thru. the collar rides on the bearing . not in the axle carrier its in the front part of the swingarm where the bearing and seals are
