is it bad if the thingy to tighten the chain has a very small crack in it???

i doubt it but its better to be safe then sorry!:cool:

wouldntit break if you have it to tight with a crack in it? i would think loosining it would better then tighter might be wrong:confused:

it doesnt go through the ring, just where the slot is to turn it

the thing to the right of the sprocket that u use to tighten the chain, just the little tab is cracked


i wish i had a digital camera cuz i dont know how to explain it

that would be the carrier or bearing carrier or axle carrier whatever u prefer to call it uhh how far is the crack and where??

in the notch that u can put a screwdriver or whatever in to turn it, its very small, it cracked when i was tightening it

it cracked all the way through??is it from the bottom of the notch to the inside of the carrier??

no not all the way through, just like a centimeter, from the end of the notch in, not even into the carrier

well as long as its not cracked on the inside it should be fine just use a different notch to tighten the chain or use really big plyers:macho
