Illinois Hare Scramble 9-13

Little Egypt Offroad Motorcycle Club is hosting an AMA National HS on Sunday and they thought it would be cool to have a QUAD RACE on Saturday. Former GNCC fast guy Rick Stanley laid out the course, it is in the Little Egypt OHV park about 6 miles east of Marion, IL on route 13 . The course is usually about 9 miles consisting of some good hill climbs, very tight woods, and some small mx. I look for a good turn out, pro riders expected are Myself, Matt Foutch, Jason and Justin Story, Rick Stanley, Chris Higgins, Jamie Shepard, Dave Hicks, Ryan Lane, Greg Wampler, Justin Buss and several others.

Come on out and Show us what ya can do!

Hey Jason was wondering if you were gonna put this up....i have rode there several times....and he ain't kiddin ya' when he says elevation changes....! Nuttin big and scary just fun..It says in the flyer that the gates open at 7 quad race a 11 am start...

This will be a dist. 17 race for the quad riders.:)

If anybody knows how to get in touch with Scott Fleshaurer (sp) and Kevin Wall tell them to come on down, Kevin holds this years record at Casey for the most laps lead without a single win. And with Scotts bad luck at the GNCC's he needs the seat time.:eek:

Its easy, just find Marion on the map get off on Rt 13 and go east about 6 miles. The little town of Crab Orchard has its own lil street off of 13 on your right side that makes a U and conects to 13 in two places. You can use the first but is better if you take second Crab Orchrad RD turn right and go 30ft and turn left on ranch lane and you are there. If you miss Crab O. rd you will go past the track on 13 on your right you will see it, so turn around. Good luck.

it was nice to meet you 400exmom.

that track was rough as hell. my hands are all tore up. almost missed the race. drove 80 all the way there. showed up at the end of the riders meeting. but my day got much better after that

No, I did not win. Yes I parked by the wrong jeep, sorry! My race season probably came to a ratteling and clunking hand granading end sat. I was behind Hicks and Scott F at the end of lap one just secs behind and ol yellar gave way. I lost second and probably 1st and 3rd gear. She is making some terrible noises. Gonna have to split the cases and fix the tranny, and I have no clue how to, so I am traveling to a friends house and learn. Problem is I have that little pivot bolt problem on top of all this and my sponors say ( my wives pocket book) no more funds this season.

It is very frustrating trying to keep this going with my current salary level and keep my wive happy at the same time. Anybody know of some job openings in the atv industry for an experienced sales person of 7 years.
