hope this link works. We were watching the bud shoot out when the driver in his dragster got off the line with the front wheels in the air and it stayed like that till the wind blew his dragster up and in the air, flipped around and crashed. :eek2: (for more on the story and pictures see link below. I saw that one on TV,..& years ago I witnessed Eddy Hill's
"Fly Over" in person :( talk about a wild ride!!...
it amazing the drivers dont think twice about retiring after something like that

I remember when Gartlis (Big Daddy) did that once and all you saw was a hugh cloud of smoke and then he some how came out of it going in the complete opposite direction. Deff one you had to see in person.

BTW good to hear he was OK

I had to take second look when I saw Don Garlits driving again & trying to qualify ...too bad he didnt make the show
