i doubt thts even near the most expesive...


yah its got alot of chrome and stuff... but that chrome wouldn't add up to the frame/linkage/rear shock/ swing arm/ tpin front of a full leager pro trax frame... then another 3500$ for a motor and u still have the same amount of chrome...


thats raptors pretty much stock compared to a PRO mx bike... its got a stock frame etc...


thats just my 2 cents...

No I think the raptor wins. In the magazine article it said he has like close to 50g's in it. There is some gold plating too.

Sure some may have a very expensive quad, but what about the guys with 2, 3, 4, 5+ sick quads, Huge enclosed trailers, trucks just for hauling, all spare parts, engines, cleaners, gas, oil, some guys have big rigs, campers, etc. Thats when the big money comes in. :eek2:

A guy off the internet I know, knows the guy that owns that raptor, there is a real nice story behind it(shortened-hes a real nice cathlic guy, he took the money that he spent on drugs all his life and put it in a raptor-50grand total) my friend has drove the raptor around some field just a little bit, I guess its just awesome. he's one of the main sponcers for trinity and he's giving my friend a full 500 cheetah kit for my friend's 18 grand banshee. Well, a friend of mine has 2 250r's and I know he has spent over $35000. in the 2 of them. Everything is pretty much chrome and has the top of the line stuff. One of his 250r's hasn't seen dirt in like 3-4 years!! (SAD!!!) Then there's parts that he had to have and then didn't like them anymore or if they got a chip on it or something, had to send it out again. Spending that kind of money into a QUAD!!! is absolutely crazy but its not my money so I really can't say anything:D :D

The guy that owns that $50,000 Raptor isn't Catholic, He is a Baptist. I used to go to church with him. He was just starting his roofing business at the time. I worked for him on a few jobs for a little money when I was in high school. I quit working for him so I could work at Burger King in the evenings. I thought It was a good decision at the time.

I have about $12,000 in my quad, I know that isn't the most, but it is alot more than I should be spending!;)

i have 500 or so in mods, i def. dont win, lol.....

honestly, i'd rather have a not so shiny or tricked out quad and still be able to afford other things and live a comfortable life. i've seen some people with machines that cost more than most economy cars, but since all their spare money is tied up in that, they have no money to spend elsewhere.....it's sad to see people that have these beautiful houses and cars, and shiny quads, but also have a small mountain of debt and no money to bail them out.

I saw about 7 or 8 JRD bikes at Budds this past weekend beside of his nice arse rig with about a 35 foot enclosed trailer (garage)..I am sure there were a few pennies tied up in that thing. Anyone who was at the Budds Nationals this year probablt saw that thing. There is a guy in C class I run with who has one :eek: That thing rails....
