stiff throttle...

all of a sudden.. during a race my throttle became really hard to push in i mean i can do it but its not the way it should be any suggestions on what it is??

try lubing the cable

It's possible that a rock may have hit the cable and kinked it.It could be that it is dirty ,have you tried to lube it?

you probably got some crud i the cable and some lube would push it out. Another thuing to look for is if you cabe is routed different than stock, you might have burned through part and exposed or frayed tha cable. It's happened to me before and I could never figure it out because it only did it at full left turn to the stops.

my throttle like sticks around 1/8, and is kinda hard to push in, than all of a sudden it will push in really fast and the quad will jump faward, it mainly does this when its wet or raining. I replaced my throttle cable, and I even lube it and it still does it, my friend said his 300ex does it, and even his old 3-wheeler, so maybe its just a honda thing?

Might want to take your throttle housing apart and clean the inside.
