kidney belts

I was just wondering, is there a certain way to wear your kidney belt. I never wore one before I just bought one today. I've heard some people say you wear it under your riding pants while others say you wear it over your riding pants. Is there a certain way to wear them..

I wear mine on the outside, I may look like a retard, but if feels better. Just my opinion.........

I can say that you don't wanna strap the mofo on real tight or you'll get cramps that will fold ya over... Get it snug but don't cut yourself in half when ya put it on. I put it under my riding pants but by the time a rides over and I've fallen off a few times and been pounded around it works its way to the outside...:confused2

I wear a Fox belt on the outside of my pants, mostly to keep my Shift pants up......they are a little big! I love the kidney belt and won't ride without one. I always thought they were gay till I wore one! :p

i wear a tshirt under a kidney belt so it doesnt irritate my skin and obviously, put it where your kidneys are plastic part in the back and then put a jersey over it. Thats just me though.
