What is the process to change clutch plates on a 250ex?

me and my friend are gonna change the clutch plates on his 250ex....but we dont know the exact process can someone give me a little tip and a list of steps of how to do it....we appreciate it...thanks

1st, buy a shop manual, and look the procedure over to see if it is within your capabilities, and if you need any special tools. The manual should guide you from there, and post any questions that come up along the way on here to get answers. I just got done replacing clutch plates on my wife's TRX200sx which has a similar clutch.:cool:
