What can i do to raise the value of my ex?

Ok, well now that the new yami, and the new honda are comming out and i want to get rid of the ex, i am kinda screwed. I will prob get like only $2800 knowing my luck or less, but would like to get at lease what i payed, $3000 but i also put around $1000 into it.

any who, what can i do to make like the value go up? anything cheap? i was thinking like a new topend, but the price that that would cost i would not even make back.:confused:
i am already getting the entire quad powdercoated except the frame (my oven is not that big:confused2 )
and it has new fenders so it looks ok....any thing else?
or is there any where that i can get like a JE or ROSS piston REALLY REALLY cheap and make a 416 or a 406 or whatever...or poss a new cam since i will still keep it through the winter.

umm... you could part out everthing. what could take a while and your not garrentted to sell everthing. but i imagine you could sell everthing seperetly and get some good money. motor like 800 pipe.150 plasteic 250 bars 55 you know what i mean it adds up.

Dude, motor work isn't going to up the value. You'll just end up spending more than what you can get. Just sell it as is. If anything, maybe you can find some rich kid that doesn't know anything about anything, and he'll buy it just because it's a Honda.

I don't think there is anything you can do to increase the value. In fact, I'd say a 416 and cam will actually DECREASE the value. Most used-quad buyers are looking for reliability.

Put it back to stock form and then sell the mod's sererately;)

sorry, i was in NY, but the old lady would not let me even part the blown up blaster when i had it, so i dont think i can part a running bike:ermm:
