What would i need to buy if i got a 330 sleeve and piston for my 300ex??? i already have all the head work needed done, i was kinda wanting to keep my stock carb, but if i need to get a 400ex carb i will. and is there anything else i may need. Because my dad said that we are either gonna bore it 80 over, or get a 330 sleeve. and would Wiseco be a good piston to use.

the piston kit will come with everything you need to be at 330., you will need the machine work done so the sleeve will fit.

i opend the cylinder on my 300 yesterday and my sleeve is broke in 3 different places!! the top rim busted off the sleeve, the upper part of the sleeve is broke and got pushed up and broke the rim off. and there is another crack alone the side of it... and my piston is dead. WTF happend??? we have to buy a new cylinder also because when teh sleeve busted out, the rings came off the piston and cracked the inside of my cylinder, so its junk... what will be needed to fix it, and what performance mods CAN i put on it??

gthunder (they are in our links section) just biult me a 350 big bore, it could possibly be a big enough bore to get rid of anything bad. piston, rings, circlip, pin and sleeve was 225 i believe. call and ask them about it.

thats a nice kit, but uh...how much??? im not wanting to spend over 500....and i kno i cant get a 350 kit for 500. I was kinda looking at maybe a 310- buy a used cylinder ith stock bore, and bore it 80 over=310... what do u think..we still have to disassemble the whole motor cuz some metal pieces we think fell in the bottom end... so we might just have a local honda shop do it..i hope cuz thats alot of work

well, piston kit was 225, plus labor and machine work to install, add a cam or porting and i bet you will still be below 500 bucks. post a attn gthunder thread, lazurus should reply and answer all off your questions. he just signed up though, so i'm not sure how much he is on
