If so how long did it take? I thought about using mothers and a buffer and I'm just wondering if it's worth the hassle. If you have pics please post.

it will come out very good with mothers..not much hassle. you don't need to strip it or anything since its bare so that makes it alot easier go for it. :)

Is your motor stock inside, or is it a 4++ and what jetting are you running(if the motor's stock)?

Here is one that I did for a buddy of mine. It looks like there are some scratchs on it but theres not. Took about 4 hours.

Thanks sprtrx300ex,

The pipe was PC with silver High temp powder, made it look much better than stock but just doesn't compare to chrome ceramic and real chrome.

DanneyF did the chrome ceramic on the headpipe and i did the polishing while i waited for it to get back.
It is not a fast process to polish anything.
It goes in stages, first you get the big scratches out and it loks pretty good, then you look closer and notice that there are smaller scratches, and smaller scratches.
But you get out of it what you put into it.
I spent about 6 hours on mine and it's nowhere as good as it could be but it's good enough for a bike that gets rode often.
