Duel header for 400's

I need to find out if there is a way to run duel exhaust on my 400ex without investing in an alien kit? Can I just buy the headers?

there is a company that sells duel exaust for the 400
It is a header, and exaust, one on each side!

they don't sell the individual componants to the alien system except for special circumstances (warrenty work...)

lte makes dual exhaust for a 400ex. but it is $600! that is with a aluminum air box that mounts the battery inside also. it looks beautiful. i wonder how it sounds tho. there is an add in the september dirt wheels mag. if anyone knows anythin about it...tell us about it.

i don't know anything about it, but i have been looking into it, and i will give a call to them tomorrow sometime and get some info, if anyone wants, and well i will for myself too,cause i love to try new exausts out, and have something not many people have!:cool:

There $600, they say the two pipes are lighter then stock combined. Produce a lot of power and arnt loud.

Sometimes you can get your local auto muffler shop to make the headers for you, but you are still going to need 2 silincers.

Those pipes are LOUD!! I have a friend who just put one on his Raptor, and those things when opened up are very loud. They look very nice, however they are very so so made. Cheaply fabricated. In my opinion, im not too sure how long they would last to long compared to others out there. THe silencer part of them is the only thing that really looks trick though and nicely done.
