What sprocket combos are you guys with 440's running? I tried to do a search but did not really find what I was looking for.

I think it would benifit from higher gearing. As in bigger up front and smaller out back.

What you doin?????

i agree, a smaller rear or a bigger front is what i prefer. some disagree since they want all of the instant throttle response and torque so they stay with stock gearing or go to a 14 tooth front. i personally run a 36 rear and sometimes even a 16 up front with it. i think it has plenty of torque for what i need. i prefer speed over torque, but then again i don't ride on tight trails and tracks.

Yep, I have never been in a situation where 1st gear was not low enough. Seems like these 440's have a ton of torque and truck gearing steals the quads capabilities.

Thanks, keep em coming.

I run 15/36 and I think its perfect. Plenty of pull all over. And the top speed is just a tad slower than a Banshee and thats helpful cause I run fireroads with alot of 6th gear Banshees.

I also did a little test at the dunes last weekend. I dragged with the 15/36 and a 14/36 gearing. The 15/36 gearing was about half a quad lenght faster.

Never tried a 16/36 combo,. I do have the sprockets to try it... maybe nexttime.

15/36 here.

It seems to be the best overall combo for my set up and where I normally ride. You could start there and then adjust to match your ride area or style etc.
