I have a stock 400 with a jet kit and white bro's pipe. I was about to get it bored to a 416, port and polish, and stage two hot cam. then i saw the 463. I want reliability so can someone tell me about the 463 if u have one or know someone that does. all i know is that its a 425 with 6mm stroke

well it all depends on what kind of riding you do. i do a lot of trail rining ad i have a 416 and its great. a 463 is verry sesitive. a stroker is not a reliable engine

i agree i have a 416 as well ported and a few other things and im surprised at the power im getting out of it. i ride some crazy trails and love hill climbing and the thing just keeps pullin. another good thing about a 416 is if you blow a piston r break an arm you can just bore up to the next size like a 426 or somethin with a 463 it s gonn a cost alot more than 40$ for a bore and hone.

if it is the fdo, then it is a very reliable motor from what i have heard

most engine builders will be able to convince you that a stroker is reliable, i would have one my self, but i got a custom 350 piston for cheaper than a 350 bore and stroke.
