Just backfires and wont start

Well I put a Curtis Sparks key in and before I put it in, my other key was sheared off. So the question now is what else is wrong I think my timing is off but i am not sure?

what you could try to do is take the head cover off and align the two marks on the camshaft sprocket with the top of the head and see if the T mark on the flywheel is aligned where it is suppose to be. besides that, i am not sure what to tell you. if the timing was off, it should not run very good.

I'm not sure about this but if the stock key was sheared would there be a chance of piston/valve contact and damage?
