After getting my frame pc'd,my stock a-arms need something done.I know you cant PC em so how would anodizing work? Its fairly tough and you may could clearcoat over em.Anyone know about what it would cost?Or if it would work?

don't worry you can powdercoat your a-arms. you can't anodize them tho. thats only for aluminum i believe. you can powdercoat them tho.

Some translusant colors look similar to anodizing.

And I've seen a ton of stock a-arms pc'ed without a problem.

Pappy did mine black. The PC held up good, but my ball joints are starting to go. I don't know if that is the PC's fault, or do to age.(I bought them used, so not sure on the abuse)

There is a plastic cup under the ball. If you were to PC them the heat makes the cup very weak and will wear out faster than normal. It could even melt during the bakeing process. Not a wise thing to do, but as others have said, I also have seen several done. I have bought some spray paint in the past from Walmart, that holds up really good and looks good. It's by Rustolium(sp?) and was called grey hamertone. Might want to try it. the trick to getting it to hold up is all in the prep of the part. Take your time and do it right.
