I don't think make a carb small enough for the 300ex. the smallest size they make is 39mm and that carbs is kanda to big for even a mild 416.

i have one on my stock motor'd 400. I would venture to say that it gave me as much of a gain as the x-6 and k&n gave me. it may be too big for a 300 though. Maybe a 330. Call c&d or sparks and see what they say.

You could use a stock 400ex carb on your 300ex...anyone tried this setup before?

you adjust it w. the main jet, pilot jet, needle jet and the fuel screw. To make it easier, order a fuel screw from c&d. It makes it sooo much easier .

main jet = 3/4 to full throttle adjustment
Needle 1/8 to 3/4
pilot and fuel screw= idle to 1/8
