Just go buy a 155 and 158 main and start with the 158. See how it runs. I also installed a 42 pilot jet and man does it start easier. Stock main is a 148.

money is not an issue, I am most interested in the "Big Gun" race series exhaust. Head pipe and slip on for $ 425.

How much longer till you get your motor. I'm excited to see what you think of it. I would have got the duncan, but it was to expensive at the time, so i sent it to fischer cycle, then....low and behold, duncan sends me a sponsorship 4 days later. Oh well...i'm still running the duncan pipe.

hey,
thats awesome, how long have you been racing to get a sponsership like that? do you have to race the nationals?

i wish i could get discount on stuff, maybe ill try to get sponsered next year....

Actually, the upcoming season is only my second year. And i haven't ran any nationals yet(but this year i'll be going to at least 4) I don't really think it matters how long you've been racing, it's finish's. I've only been riding for 1 full season but i was consitantly top 2. most of the time placing 1st. and that's on a stock motor.

I was so excited when they sent me my sponsorship, I've always been a HUGE Duncan racing fan.

but it's really easy to get sponsored. just send company's your resume with the last years finish's. I've gotten sponorship contracts from, axis, nacs, kandk, legacy atv, and a few others, BUT i didn't take them. i only took the sponsorships of the ones i could use. and those places weren't very big discounts.

I e-mialed big gun when I bought my pipe and here is what they told me:

Dear Scott,
As for the jetting specs you are asking for you should do the following:

Pilot- 40-42
Main- 155-158
Needle- drop the clip one position

This should cover you

Let us know if you need anything else.

Thanks,Mike

I ended up with the 42 pilot and a 158 main. Started with a 160 and it was fine when hot out but too rich for the cold. I ride in southern Indiana, I am not sure the elevation. Have a K&N w/ prefilter but I didn't remove the airbox lid.

hope this helps
