Cannondale: Anyone got one and didnt do the updates?

To elaborate, does anyone have a Cannibal, preferrably an 03' that didnt do the engine and tranny updates and it is running fine? I heard that only the last 03's that were made are a problem becuase workers were getting lazy. If you have or havent had problems with your 03', list your last three digits of your vin... The one I am getting my hands on is #118.

your probably gonn ahve some problems mine is and 0189 and i had 3 bolts in my tranny cartridge plate loose :confused2

since then i have done the stage 8, besides that, not one problem cept not enough time to ride it!

I just got an 03 cannondale and have not done the updates yet, the vin is 236, what are the updates that have to be done? and how much do each of them cost? thanks

Mine was manufactured in June of 02 and I had loose bolts. It was not due to lazy factory workers. It was the SSM cases that were the mane cause.

Think of it this way. It is a $80 insurance that may save you thousands.

I have NOT done the updates. I know I should do this ASAP, but the quad has about 7-8 hours on it now. Should I be concerned for the ride HM coming up for us on the 18th???

I need to find out about the studs....
