my friend just put in a hotcam stage 1 cam which is suppose to give you good midrange. i will know after he gets it broke in. i hear a lot of good responses with TC cams. do a search for cams or something similar and you could probally find what your looking for.

Try WebCams! Most engine builders use them like CT and LRD! Others like Sparks and TC, I'm not sure if there actually making them or there having someone else like Webcam make'em and then putting there name on it and charging extra:confused: But what I've learned is to eliminate the middleman and go right to'em. Webcams you will need to get your rockers done also (recommended)

Almost all webcams require hardened rockers ect.. which means more money. A stock XR400 cam for about $120 will do the job for ya just fine...

Get a higher comp. piston too while ya got the thing ripped apart...:macho

Your still on the borderline with race fuel when your at 11:1 but if your gonna go higher than that, alot of these engine builders are gonna recommend race fuel. I have a 11:1 and I use VP but I do run 50/50. Never tried regular pump gas! CT told me to run race fuel and I've been doing it ever since.

Custom WEB-CAM (1.5) (aggressive woods) You already have the perfect compression for it and (will not need) hardened rockers.

Speedy, your anser is no. You can buy a stock sized piston and ring det that is 11:1 compression. As far as a cam goes, go with an XR400 cam. It's a true drop in cam and is about the same as a Hot Cams stage 1. Race fuel? if your running an 11:1 compression, it is my advice to run in the 102-106 octane range. You can just simply buy it from a gas pump at "some" stations that are near a race track. If you can't find a station selling it and are stuck with buying 114 or 118, than mix it 50/50 with 93 octane.
