I know what you mean about the dust. Dry and dusty here as well. Here's a cool pic from today. One of my friends hittin our double on his cr250 and i'm coming the other way behind him hittin a tabletop. We'll be out again in full force tomorrow :D

QJ, I thought you rode the predator more than the 400 or is it a toss up usually? Nice pics too.

:( No such luck here. We had a big woods ride planned for today. We were going to a relatives property, big cook out the whole 9 yards. It hasn't rained here in 2 months, half of the towns have been on water restrictions. Then, this past Thursday it started raining, and it hasn't stopped since! Flash flood warnings all over the city, what a mess. Boy, Mother Nature sures knows how to spoil a good time.:grr:

saturday 3 friends of mine and I met up at bussey and I was out hitting the gravity cavity and on the entrance jump into the cavity which is about a 60ft step down into a pit I got crossed up in the air and it bucked me off. I got so much road rash and a lot of stuff feels weird in my arm, hip and foot.:o I hope I didn't jack any of my tendons or anything permanitly(spel?).

Also saw a guy a couple hours get in a really nasty crash and the guys eyes were rolling in the back of his head. We were the first to call the ambulance and the guy looked pretty bad but I don't know if he is ok now.

Oh well, I still had fun trail riding and stuff.:ermm:

Looks like fun Quadjunkies!! I was going to head five hours down into Mexico to ride dunes on the beach but my airbox filled up with water when I washed the salt off of the pred after Pismo and it ruined my K&N drop in.( I am a dumb *** I know) So I ordered the clamp on filter and I'll have to wait till next weekend to ride. Doh

Nope no riding for me:( We're on the down hill run of a three room remodel:p I spent yesterday spraying paint in the kitchen, dining room and the family room. Today I spent the day installing laminet flooring in the same three rooms and blowing paint boogers out of my nose from yesterday:blah: The end is in sight now. I have to hang the new lights finish the the flooring tommorow. After that we wait for our new countertops(second attempt:grr: ) Then the finish carpenter gets to come back and finish off the cabinets and the crown mouldings.

I should be back in the saddle weekend after next:D

Everyone in the house was happy today, LOL we pulled the carpet up the weekend of july12th. Been walking on the plywood ever since. The place is starting to look like a house again. But I held true to my promise to the wife, I never left her without a functional kitchen ;) Its taken a long time to get it all done but most of it was out of my control.

I did all my riding here, Lots of fun yestarday, did some good partying at the beach, lots of women up here. Makes living by the lake worth while, but it was super rough out on the water. Worked ot, so didn't get to do any racing, just partying.

Rode, and tinkered with my Wr 426, found some secret (but illegal) woods trails. Was also gonna try to go up to bull gap. Got a msg from chknhawk. Hope he had fun, but expected ride time to be limited, and super heavy trail traffic. That's why holiday weekends kinda suck there. You just can't get any real good, fast riding in. If you like to party and take pictures it's fun though.

BTW, nic pics guys, and gals.

Had an awesome time riding this weekend. Went to Frederic Loop up north, the trails were super narrow. My stock width 400ex barely made it down the trails and was to wide for a coupld sections. Overall it was a blast, and my gf was able to keep up on her 250x, actually she was leading through most the trails  lol. The best part was when everyone was worried about my gf making it up a real sandy hill with her bald tires, the guy that was worried wasn't able to get up on his first try on a 250 dirtbike while everyone else made it up. lol

Then yesturday we (three 125 dirtbikes and one 250 dirtbike) just went around riding two tracks up north.

Overall great trip and no one got hurt.

Went riding shirtless, and wore riding pants, didn't have anywhere to put the camera. Pluss 2 wheeled riding always gets pretty radical, might smash the camera during a crash.

I didn't have a bad weekend still had fun, just been working a butt load of ot to pay for the parts I'm getting for my banshee. These pics are from a couple of weeks ago.

400ex mom, sounds like you ride on the wild side. We have fun hill climbs here, and you should try bull gap on an off holiday weekend, I know you'd love it.

Yeah, I finally got my bike back together and went riding at the Knolls in Utah. Great desert riding area. My new build ran great, I went from the slowest bike in the group, I weigh 225, to the fastest by quite a bit. It was hot. DUNE SEASON IS UPON US!

Yeah we went riding & camping for 10 days:eek2: :D just got back on Sun. night @ 9pm or so.....needless to say we're all pooped!!! My oldest son & I went on an awesome rides, one was thru the woods in 5th gear pinned, the kid loved it by the time we got to the end he says "WOW Mom that was awesome!!!! I'm all well you wanna do it again, he's all oh yeah so we flew back out!!! Very very fun & the ol wore out 300ex held up good. Then a couple days later I took Ron's 400 out to the "gravel pit" to do some berm riding but that didn't turn out too good.......went flying up the side of the hill & had a hella time turning out of it & went head on into an embankment (4th or 5th gear) & came to a dead stop w/ the handlebar in my groin:confused2 :eek2: :o well needless to say I tucked & rolled the quad cleared me went over a couple times & came to a stop finally on all fours into a tree!!!!!! Scared the holy crap out of the kid.....I thought for sure he was gonna pass out by the look on his face, but I jumped up & pulled the "I'm ok stunt" but sat right back down for a second. I just got my inards jarred & some nice bruises bent the handlebars & a front rim dang it & the worst part.....Ron wasn't even there had to tell him I wiped out when he came back up from work:eek2: !!!! He wasn't upset though just glad I was ok. Now I get to order some more parts:confused2 But all in all it was a good time, didn't do a whole lot of riding after that was pretty sore, so I resorted to the ol Miller Lites!! BUT my brother in law did bring me my new parts for the 300 Whoo Hoo new piston, & rings, should be getting it all fixed up next week!!! Gettin ready for race season we can't wait. I took some pics but have to get them developed not sure if I even got any riding ones but I'll post once I get them back!!!;)

Great pics everyone!!!!!!!!!

Sorry the post is so late...been busy catching up. I spend all weekend playing and I need to work all week to catch up on rest. :p
So I rode with my really hot friend :devious: on Sat and Monday. Rode for like four hours straight on Monday. Went up some really cool hills....got lost from him for like 2 hours and ended up doing pretty well, except I was so lost. I got some shots of him and I riding on Sat. And I went off a good jump several times after my friend pissed me off and I just did it. I think he did it on purpose to piss me off so that I would do the jump...it was not a big deal....but I cant seem to keep my footing during the jumps and one time I guess I landed on my shifter...b/c as we got it loaded on the trailor he notioced that the shifter was bent...totally out at like a 45 degree angle with the foot rest.....so I bought a new shifter last night.....honda stock....I know I should have gotten the chrome one but man $99 vs $20.......It try and do better next time.

And this Sunday when I ride I plan on trying to make it up that hill i flipped on. I was told I need to show that hill who's boss. All and all I think Im doing pretty dern well....need to pick up speed to keep up on the trails...i feel like everyone is always waiting for me .......I dont like that but at the same time I dont want to push myself too hard too fast. Ill figure it out with more practice.

another ther time,I told her I really needed help w/ one of my Odysseys, told her I needed her to ride it so I could check out the rear-end...and if she didnt ..it might cost big$$:D haha,as soon as she heard that she b!tched a bit but got in it,when she finally realized how much fun it was...I couldnt get her out of it,I thought "finally",it got to the point where if I was working on it or tuning ..she'd fly out wanting to ride it,I even built another FL350 for her..,after a month or so...she didnt care as much and wanted a damn horse:rolleyes: and shes also hip to my "honey..I need some help out here" syndrome:D

Thanks JTR yeah thats a bummer your wife & family isn't into, man I don't know what I would do if we all didn't do it together, heck my Mom,step dad, brothers, uncles, nieces & nephews we ALL ride together(I know don't rub it in) I used to be into horses in my teenage years while my bros raced mx but I still loved the bikes.

This year I'm trying out a new tire from Duro they are pretty neat looking at look like they are goin to hook up good (I hope) if they don't work I'll either use my turfies or some old turf savers off of our blaster but they are 20's so I really don't want to use them. I'll be picking them up from Schwabie today, they are mounting them all for me then I'll take some pics. I CAN'T WAIT!!!!

Tina VERY nice setup you have girl!!! I like the front tires & of course LOVE the graphics, guess I'm running w/ none this year:( but I do have some cool sponsor stickers so that works, just keep it in stealth mode LOL are you running the turfies or Hoosiers?? Good luck on your 1st race go out there & kick some bootie!!! They are going to get a practice track opened up the end of Sept. nearby so that'll be nice to get some practicing in before the season.:)

OH YES I know exactly where your coming from on $$ for the Hoosiers, thats why we run the turf saver & then groove them much much cheaper & they seem to work good at least for our Blaster.
