they are using my quad as advertisement....without my permission. i geuss my lawyer will have to handle them:ermm: anyone know who they are?

Although it's not cool for them to be using your quad pic,if you have posted on the net than it is public domain.Anyway I would talk to them and ask them to either post your name as the owner or remove it from thier site.I personally would be flattered to have them post a pic of my quad (if it looked that good;) )

using the picture for advertising isnt legal. ive been pm'd twice and im pretty sure its just a member here's site.

lol...i dont mind people using it...but when someone advertises powdercoating and uses my quad to do it.....its kinda of misleading:ermm:

Unless your attorney is trading his services for powdercoating, more financially beneficial to make contact yourself.

i have an attorney on retainer...wont cost me a penny.
nope...the quad is still here...he wanted to try and hold out for the new honda.:)

When most people look at their site, they probaly think pineylakeatv people powdercoated those parts on your ex. So I would go after them :scary: .

i don't see how you can take him to court or anything...it doesn't say he powdercoated your quad...it's just a picture and it wasn't copyrighted so really there isn't anything you can do...

well, i can see its not a legit business....so efforts to seek legal action would be fruitless. that wasnt my point from the start...i just found it wierd that they used my quad to showcase thier stuff.
i just wanted to find out who they were....now i know:)

Just my worthless 2 cents but maybe from the look of it he's tryin to find business for you with that picture??? It says he finds the best deals for people for free....and doesnt really say he PC's anything. After all....you probably are one of the best deals out there. I think permission would have been nice though.

that thought too had crossed my mind. like i said...after i have found who it was i wasnt concerned...just surprised at first.

I know who that kid is. He used to go to dirtbike.com all the time with the name "Big Air Rider" untill we scared him off. Hes just a dink in my opinion, never makes usefull posts, doesn't follow through on things he says, and always tries to sell stuff like his used riding gear and 2 year old boots. I wouldn't worry about him. He has probably gotten more hits to his site since you posted it then he has ever gottent o it before.. :D
