building custom mini?

hey. i have a 1985 cr80 but it will take alot of work to get it ready to ride. the engine runs fine(starts first kick) so i was thinking of keeping the engine and carb and all that then selling the frame and forks and stuff and buying an lt80 and putting the cr80 engine in it and gusseting the frame and makeing it wider. i have a few friends in metal fab, my bros best friend is like an expert welder and another one of my friends is a good welder so i figure i can get everything welded for free or close to free. what do you guys think i should do.

find a nice used blaster,250x,300ex frame or bike sell all the unnecessary crap on here and use the frame for the bike engine. it would be a nice little project

this trans red frame is being built for a worked cr 80 engine. ill get pics once its complete.....

that would be cool but i dont want to go as big as a 250x. i want to keep it real small. plus i think i can get an lt80 chassis real cheap. i like the one that was on heriticks webiste a while ago.
