All Stock Stuff?

Your gonna have to take it all apart and clean/grease it up real well

Spraying it with Wd40 is the worst thing...it just cleans out any remaining grease

Take it all apart and lube it ....while your at it Remove the Bushing on the steering stem and clean/lube that as well

AMEN! Don't just WD-40 it, unless you really want to buy a new front end!

No..........you will have to take the shocks off & put grease in the holes where the bolts go through..that should do it........

If it squeaks when you turn the handle bars, then clean and re-grease your upper stem stem bushing.

do you just use regular grease? like from a grease gun that you would use to grease a-arms?

Use a good waterproof bearing grease, I use Bel Ray it works great.

Take off the bracket that holds the top of the stem(below the handle bars)to the frame. It is a two piece holder with a plastic or rubber bushing(green) that wraps around the stem.cover it with the same grease you are using on the a arms. There are bearings in the a arms just putting grease in the holes wont cut it.remove the a arms and coat the bearings.

That's news to me, you say I can take the a-arms off and be able to apply grease to the bearings. Can this also be done for the swing-arm bearings up front?

I got one ace, I did sound kind of ignorant. I've already regreased the a-arms, and took apart the rear shock and linkage to do the same. I couldn't get the swing arm bolt out, didn't have slack in bearings from rocking the swingarm, so left all as well.
You guys know any tricks to getting swing arm bolt out?

Blood sweat and beers ....cough,cough I mean tears.Patience,if it is stuck now than you definatley don't want to wait around!!!Try tilting the quad up on its side and spray it (pivot bolt) down with some kind of penatrating oil.Use a impact to turn the bolt and let the oil sit.An impact hammer worked best for me,but if you don't have one a hammer and some kind of long punch and drive it out.I had to do this once and after a few solid hits you will need to grind the end down when it "mushrooms" so it will still fit through the hole.Good luck and dont give up it will come out.

the bushings inside the bottom of the front shocks is dry take em off the bushing is what the bolt goes through push it out with your finger and lube it up do this often when you get a new bike take out the swingarm bolt and put antisiz on it

no, dont put wd 40 on your bushings, this is penetrating oil, and will cause your bushings to wear out faster.

you can use silicone spray, pretty much any kind of grease you find at the auto store, or if your cheap like me, just slick em up with some 90 weight gear oil. it seems to stay lubed longer & dosent hurt the bushings.

Dont use chain lube either..
