smokes alittle when i get the rpms up high ?

I have a 400ex, When i rev the engine at a high rpm you can watch blue smoke coming out of the tail pipe in one big puff real fast and stops smoking until you let off and do it again.

does anyone know why or what I need to do to cure this problem ?:confused:

I think it could be the piston rings, have you checked your oil to see how much you have?

Burning a little oil.

If it's blue it's oil....:( if It's black It's fuel....... check your plug if it's black & wet looking it's prob burning oil.....then before you rip into the motor I would do a compreson test just to make sure if it needs a rebuild or not [piston & rings]..........good luck!
