250R bogging

My R is bogging and not hitting the powerband at all. It idels fine and will rev fine but when in gear it bogs from about 1/4 throtle on up. I've already tried changing plugs and i have also takin the carb apart and cleaned it. It ran fine up untill a few days ago and then starting doin this any ideas?

do a plug reading and tell sounds like ur running rich.........

did you empty the gas tank and put fresh gas in? when my snowmobile does that its only because of bad gas.

I did drain the gas and put fresh gas in it. And for the plug i cant really drive it enough to get a good reading on it with a new plug in it, it isnt realy black like its runnnin rich but it might be

from idle: roll on smooth and steady till its wide open, whats its do????? Then after u do it a few times, does it not want to run or after it sits a few days is it ok???? Why i asked that?? take off the shifter and left case cover. is the flywheel wet??? is so is it gas or water???

also: u took the carb apart, thats fine. take it apart again and check the holes in the pilot jet. also check the clip on the needle for play up and down???

Um its defently running rich, Tell me what ur Needle, Pilot and Main jet ar set and ur elevation. If u didnt say it just started doin ythis I would most defently say ur main jet! It prolly is that!:ermm:

i know my main jet is a 165 i dont know what the needle and pilot are set at right now the elevation is about 900. But i still dont get y its runnin like this i never changed any carb settings or anything.:ermm:

Check your reeds, make sure one hasn't broken.

just checked my reeds and there fine, and my needle is on the 3rd clip
